VOICETHREAD

Using Voicethread - a  web-based application that allows individuals to place collections of media like images, videos, documents, and presentations at the center of an asynchronous conversation - for personal academic use is just as much of a benefit when using other academic tools simply because it is meant for academics. Of course, they all do separate things but at the same time are the same. Voicethread, in particular, is a beneficial tool that I found to be a benefit for my personal academic use because when I first got onto the website I learned that it activates learning but also:

1. It is engaging - Voicethread comments/conversations are built around interesting topics, images and interactive videos. Additionally, voicethread allows users to make audio comments making communication much more personal.
2. It is easy to use - uploading content or even adding a comment is as easy as adding an attachment to an email! When users want to communicate - add text, audio, video - you only hit one button. Voicethread is a digital tool that users of any age or experience may use it and use it without any trouble.
